First day of Nursing classes for the semester!  It went pretty well actually. My first class was at 10am this morning and it was Fundamentals of Nursing Lab. Our professor decided to start with the most basic aspects of nursing care: Sterile Techniques. How to put on gloves, gowns, masks and open sterile equipment. Later I went to my actual Fundamentals class, and of course being in Clinicals, we were made take a math exam on Medication administration and dosages. Oh and we got ipod touches from the nursing department for clinicals! They’re really nice.  Over all I liked my classes, there is a lot of work involved and a ton of reading. I have 10 chapters of reading, 2 hours of online skills learning, NCLEX practices problems and a pre and post test for homework lol. I’ll live. I should probably start now though :)
